Electric Power Consumption

Electric Power Consumption diagram

Power efficiency is a design constraint for every eccentric mass load system we build, not an afterthought. The 4-Phase Motor Generator Device is measured on watts consumed per unit of directional force it produces, alongside the usual metrics of torque, timing accuracy, and thermal load.

Lower consumption per unit of force is what turns a tabletop demonstrator into something that could plausibly run on a solar-and-battery power budget in orbit, which is the long-term target for this line of development.
